Following recent concerns about unexplained water loss within the village, an underground leak was successfully located on the main water supply line.
Finding the source required excavation along the pipeline. Despite difficult conditions and heavy rain, the team exposed the damaged section and completed the necessary repair using a reinforced pipe coupling.
The leak was hidden underground and showed few visible signs at the surface, illustrating how difficult this type of problem can be to identify. Left unrepaired, it could have continued wasting a significant amount of water and increased costs for the entire community.
The water supply has now been restored, and consumption will continue to be monitored closely over the coming days. This will allow us to confirm the effect of the repair and determine whether any additional leaks or discrepancies remain elsewhere in the network.
This repair is an important step toward reducing water loss and improving the reliability of our village water system.
